NDI Tools for Mac
To capture a Display or Program running on a Mac computer, we recommend using the NDI Scan Converter program available in the NDI Tools pack. To download and for more information on the NDI Scan converter application, click the link below:
This application is compatible with capturing all Macs including recent models.
OMT Tools for Mac
Sienna have made a number of applications for OMT that are fully supported on MacOS. This includes the OMT ScanConverter Lite application which can be used to capture a Mac desktop over the network and into vMix. ProPresenter on Mac
The Mac version of ProPresenter has inbuilt NDI as of ProPresenter 7 onwards. It is recommended to use the inbuilt NDI capabilities of this program when bringing it into vMix rather than an external desktop capture application. vMix Desktop Capture for Intel Macs 2021 and older
The vMix NDI Desktop Capture for Mac application is currently only compatible with Intel Macs that are from year 2021 and older. If you do have a newer Mac, please use the Newtek NDI Screen Capture application instead.
